Quality Documentation

For all products and services, AWB offers extensive quality documentation, which is accessible online if desired by our clients. AWB’s quality documentation ensures the traceability of individual components, i.e. it’s always possible to determine exactly where an individual part came from and on which machine it was processed.

Additionally AWB stores all relevant certificates, e.g. material quality certificates, test certificates, machine certificates, etc. over the complete life cycle of each part in a certified System and offers them to its customers at any time.

The quality assurance process for precision manufactured parts comprises – depending on our clients’ needs – the following steps among others:

• Control of mechanical properties the material
• Positive material identification
• Programming verification and installation of machines before manufacturing through a multi-stage process
• Measure checks while manufacturing
• Measure check of the component with a 3D measuring machine
• Property check after manufacturing
• Nondestructive testing e.g. radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle inspection (MT), penetrant testing (PT)
